Review: Fantasticocks | Ophiuchus the Forgotten

rank_c

Rank: C

  • Very hard silicone
  • Very long
  • Cool "mouth/maw" area at the front

Old toy, so I'm not sure how many times I've used this.
Realistically, probably under 20 times.

Purchased late 2022 from Fantasticocks (via Etsy, before they banned sex toys) for $66.60 (discounted from $74)

Exterior

It's got a solid rugged shape. The opening of the toy is shaped like some sort of worm or serpentine creature's jaws/maw opening up, which is cool.

Since this is a platinum silicone toy, not TPE, you can boil it or whatever to fully sanitize it. However, the material is also VERY hard and inelastic. Consequentially, the hole doesn't expand or stretch much, so even at rest, it's open.

Custom Colors

Fantasticocks lets you choose the two colors of the material! You can also add in notes for special requests that they will try to fulfill if possible (e.g. have one specific color be focused near the opening, or something).

It takes them time to actually make your toy, tho. This order — which also included a cock ring — was finished and shipped 13 days after placing the order (then the shipping process was very fast, priority mail).

Open-Ended

It's open-ended, so there's no back and no suction. In usage, I sometimes thrust deep, then put my palm over the back to seal it. This makes it suck on my dick more, which feels better and makes the toy much quieter.

Interior

It's got a single spiral ridge texture the entire way through.

Unfortunately, it's just way too hard for me. When I recently used it, I couldn't even enjoy it at all; it was just painful. Which is weird, because I've used it several times in the past without incident, even enjoying its roughness.

...Oh! I think I just solved that puzzle right now, as I write this: it's probably the lube. Back then I was using a super thick lube; these days I use much more typical, thinner lubes.

Okay, use a thicker lube with this, then.1

But even back then with that thicker lube, the sensation was rough and just okay, nothing more.

The most fun I've had with it was by inserting then simply twisting it, rotating it continually around my dick.

Scent

It's made of silicone, and has no scent.

Sound

It's a loud toy, especially since it's open on the back.

Durability

Should be extremely durable. May never break.
If it gets dirty, you can fully sanitize it.

Overall

Durability was the main reason why I had sought a silicone stroker. I wanted something that I could always have on hand, as a sorta "old reliable" toy. I don't care for that these days, and there are better feeling toys that are more than durable enough. If you seek a long-lasting TPE toy, I'd recommend looking at TOMAX's stuff.

Ultimately, I don't think this toy was really worth it, even though I wasn't dissatisfied back when I bought it.

  1. Hm, maybe I should revisit my other hard toy (the shark girl), as I still have some of that thick lube left.
